This data helps us improve website performance and user experience.

- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing and ad campaigns
- Maintain security and protect against misuse
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not share your information with third parties for advertising or resale purposes.
However, we may share necessary information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business. This includes systems used for:
- Email communication (e.g., Google Workspace)
- Client relationship management and automation (e.g., Go High Level)
If you purchase a competitive Audit through our self-service tool, additional sub-processors apply — see Section 11 below for the complete list.
These vendors are required to maintain confidentiality and protect your information.
5. Use of Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses cookies, pixels, and analytics tools for performance monitoring and tracking behavior across the site. These tools collect aggregate data to help us understand how visitors use our site.
You can manage your cookie settings in your browser or opt out of personalized ads through Google or Meta’s ad preferences.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention of Data
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we have about you

10. Geographic Scope
Our services are primarily intended for customers in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the U.S., please note that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
11. If You Purchase a Competitive Audit
This section applies specifically to information collected when you purchase or request a competitive Audit through our self-service tool at evolvebusiness.com/audit. It supplements (and does not replace) the rest of this Privacy Policy.
Information we collect at checkout
When you submit the Audit form, we collect:
- Your contact information — name (if provided), email address, phone number (optional)
- Your business information — business name, website URL, primary service category, city, state
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number, only a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits of the card
Sub-processors used to deliver your Audit
To produce your Audit report, we share specific data with the following service providers:
| Sub-processor | What we share | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe, Inc. | Email, business name, payment method | Process payment, send receipts |
| HighLevel, Inc. (GoHighLevel) | Email, name, business name, audit summary | Send your Audit-ready email and store contact record |
| Anthropic, PBC | Business profile data, your website’s public content, competitor data, scan results | Generate the analytical narrative (Claude AI) |
| Local Dominator, Inc. | Business name, address, primary service category | Run geographic ranking heatmap scan |
| Google LLC (Places API) | Business name, city/state | Resolve to your Google Business Profile |
| Google LLC (PageSpeed Insights) | Your website URL | Run Lighthouse performance + accessibility audit |
| Hostinger International Ltd. | Audit report HTML | Host the WordPress page where your Audit lives |
We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing list services. The Sub-processors above receive only the minimum data required to perform their part of the Audit pipeline.
Where your Audit report lives
When your Audit is complete, we publish the report to a unique URL on evolvebusiness.com (for example, evolvebusiness.com/audits/your-business-city-state-a1b2/). Three privacy properties of this URL design:
- The URL contains a randomized 4-character suffix that we don’t share or list. URL enumeration won’t reveal other customers’ reports.
- The page is excluded from search engine indexing via
noindex, nofollowmeta tags. Your report won’t appear in Google search results. - We do not list your Audit on any public directory page. The only way to find your report is to use the URL we email you.
In effect, your Audit is functionally private to you and anyone you choose to share the link with.
Case studies
We do not publish your Audit as a public case study without your explicit written consent. During checkout you may optionally opt-in to allow us to feature your Audit in marketing material. Opt-in is always off by default. You may revoke your consent at any time by emailing jim@evolvebusiness.com — we’ll remove the case study within 7 days.
The iconic-brand audits we publish for marketing (Cafe Du Monde, Roto-Rooter, Walt Disney World, etc.) are not customer purchases. They are independent diagnostic analyses we run on publicly recognizable businesses for educational purposes; those businesses are not Evolve customers.
Data retention specific to Audits
- Your Audit report HTML: retained indefinitely so the URL we sent you remains accessible. You may request deletion at any time.
- Your contact record in GoHighLevel: retained for our ongoing customer relationship until you request deletion.
- Your payment record in Stripe: retained per Stripe’s standard retention policies (typically 7 years for financial-record purposes; we cannot override this).
- The raw scan data we used to generate your Audit: retained in our internal database for 90 days, then deleted.
EU and California residents
If you are an EU resident, the GDPR applies to your data. If you are a California resident, the CCPA applies. Both grant you rights similar to those listed in Section 8 plus the right to know what data we hold and the right to portability. Email jim@evolvebusiness.com to exercise any of these rights — we honor them regardless of where you live.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
